Sam Decout is a freelance photographer and videographer based in Haute Savoie (France), specialising in outdoor sports, reportage, events and brand identity. With over 13 years’ experience, he has worked with clients including Big Bike magazine, Cédric Gracia, Cyril Despres, International Ski Federation, Groupe Hexaôm, Amaury Sport Organisation A.SO., David Castera, RedBull Motorsports, Supermotard mag, UCPA and brands such as ABUS, COMMENCAL Bicycles, FABERGÉ, INDIAN MOTORBIKES, LEZYNE, PANARACER, POLARIS, SHRED OPTICS.

Former agronomic engineer and doctor in conservation biology, Sam Decout turned to photography and videography after the birth of his son in 2012. He began his career as a full-time photographer and videographer for COMMENCAL Bicycles in the media and marketing department for 5 years.

He has worked on prestigious events such as the Andalucia Rally, Mettet Superbike, Dakar Rally, Rallye du Maroc, Le Mans Classic. For several years, he is also social media coordinator for the FIS Telemark World Cup, where he captures the human and sporting essence of this discipline.
